Federal prosecutors this week charged nine former Sprint employees with fraud and aggravated identity theft after learning they had cloned customer cell phone numbers to make $15 million worth of calls. According to the complaint from federal prosecutors, the individuals who have been charged worked at Sprint stores in the Bronx, Bergen, N.J., and Tampa, Fla., and used company computers to get confidential information about thousands of customers. The data was used to create the so-called clone cell phones. Of the $15 million worth of calls, a large percentage of them were international calls, said prosecutors.

There are 9 replies, with the last one on 09/06/2010 at 2:11:13 PM by joe_elway
Quote:
I believe in a big bang, evolution, etc. They’re proven science to me. I’ve been lucky enough to be at one of the key sites in evolution science in the world. I also believe in God. I don’t claim to know the source of everything and I do not confuse my self with Dr. Sheldon Cooper *bazinga*. I’ve no problem with people believing in different ways. I’ve no problem with people being religious or agnostic or not believing in a God or a silver rod or whatever.

What I don’t get is why some people have to get so angry about the whole thing. I don’t get why people have to force their views on others. I don’t get why some religions feel like they have to force personal views to be thought the same way and in competition with measurable and provable science and facts. There is a place for religion education: religion class, Sunday school, or whatever.

If a person is happy with their own beliefs then that should be enough for them. I wonder if their angry desire to force those beliefs on others is sometimes a way to convince themselves. What’s more important to me is how a person treats others.

Heck, maybe it was all a big sneeze. Or a joke. Or maybe the answer is 42.
